Residence Fire - 3736 North 50 East

At 1409 hrs Galveston FD requested mutual aid for a vacant residence fire at 3736 N 50E. Engine 82 and Rescue 81 responded, reports while responding were that the fire had spread to the detached garage and subsequently a nearby field. Engine 82 on arrival assisted with an interior attack and stopped the fire from completely consuming the house. Rescue 81 was assigned to overhauling the detached garage that was a total loss. After complete extinguishment and overhaul completed all companies returned to service.
