Dumpster Fire - Kingston Green

Engine 81 and Car 81 responded to a report of a dumpster fire at Kingston Green Apartments at 1728. Initial reports were the dumpster was very close to the apartment building. Car 81 arrived and found a working dumpster fire with no immediate exposure threats. Engine 81 arrived one minute later and had the fire extinguished quickly. The fire was started by a resident discarding ashes from a burn pit into the dumpster. Taylor Township Fire Rescue would like to remind everyone to never discard of any ashes into the trash or a trash dumpster.
